< img src="https://eyewitness101.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/apc-deceived-nigerians-raised-price-of-rice-from-n6000-to-n28000-pdp-chieftain-amuzu.jpg"class ="ff-og-image-inserted"> A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Chief Toyin Amuzu has alerted Nigerians and the people of Ogun State to reject the judgment All Progressives Congress (APC) during the 2023 basic elections.

He said the party deceived Nigerians in 2015.

Amuzu advised Nigerians, especially Ogun homeowners, to completely embrace the PDP as the only platform that could conserve the masses from the APC, which he stated “has little or absolutely nothing to provide.”

Amuzu stated this in a chat with DAILY POST throughout the see of the National Chairman of the Party, Senator Iyorchia Ayu and members of his National Working Committee to Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital.

According to him, “the PDP is a party to beat in 2023, as members of the celebration are tactically coming together in unity to rescue the people.”

The Asiwaju Leragun of Egbaland explained the PDP as a celebration of justice and guideline of law, saying the party comes from all Nigerians and have people-oriented programs for all and sundry.

His words: “It was unfortunate that the APC tricked individuals that they will use a much better modification, however today a bag of rice now costs N28,000 against N6,000 in 2015.

“It is rather clear that with the high level of poverty, insecurity, financial doldrums, unemployment and other hardships that the ruling celebration has actually brought unto Nigerians in the last few years, no one will be willing to go through such mess from the year 2023.

“We know the ruling APC does not have any regard for the youth. That was why they referred to them as ‘lazy youths’ and handled them throughout the #EndSars protest.”

Amuzu added that “the numerous lies and propaganda used by the APC to enter into power have actually been exposed and the people have recognized that APC members only wished to be in government without clear-cut visions or plan to better individuals.”

He appealed to Ogun locals to sign up in the on-going citizen registration workout by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to get their voters’ card and be eligible to vote in the 2023 elections.
