Many Nigerians are still to recover from the shock of the killing of Hanifa Abubakar, an innocent five-year-old student.

More shocking is the truth that someone her moms and dads depended inform her took her own life as Abdulmalik Tanko, the proprietor of Noble Kids Nursery and Primary School, confessed to the crime at the Kano State Police Command Headquarters on Friday.

Daily Trust visited the school where Hanafi’s kidnapper buried her after dedicating the abhorrent act.

The atmosphere was cold as people collected and talked about the concern in hushed tone. The federal government has shut the school indefinitely.
