Panic As Gunmen Kill Two APC Party Chieftains in Enugu, Abduct One During Meeting
File image No less than seven unknown shooters, Tuesday, invaded the Enugu South Local Government Area office of the All Progressives Congress, eliminating the State Youth leader of the Party, Kelvin Ezeoha and one other member, Daily Post reports.
According to Daily Post, the event taken place while the members of the Party from ward III Obeagu Awkunanaw, Enugu South Local Government Area were having a reconciliation conference.
A source divulged that the enemies attacked the venue and killed the 2 party members immediately, while they also carted away one other member.
A chieftain of the party in the State revealed that “some shooters invaded the Enugu South LGA APC conference this night while their meeting remained in progress and opened fire on the celebration members.
“They eliminated the instant previous Enugu South Local Government Chairman of the party, now the incumbent State youth leader, Mr. Kelvin Ezeoha and another individual. Another celebration member was abducted.”
The source stated it was still uncertain the motive behind the attack.
The police in Enugu State are yet to release a declaration on the incident.
