Samuel Eto’o Fils, President of the Cameroonian Football Federation, has commended the Super Eagles for getting approved for the next round of the continuous Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON.

The Super Eagles had received the knockout phases of the ongoing AFCON tournament in Cameroon after topping Group D.

The Nigerian agent had beat Egypt through a lone objective and Sudan 3-1 to top the group.

Against the Sudanese, objectives from Samuel Chukwueze, Taiwo Awoniyi and Moses Simon offered the three-time champs a three-goal lead.

Although Sudan pulled one back, it was simply an alleviation goal.

Response to Super Eagles’ credentials, Eto’o, in a tweet on his validated Twitter handle, wrote: “Well done Super Eagles Flag of Nigeria for protecting your 2nd victory and proceeding to the knockout phase #AFCON 2021 @CAF_Online”
