Photos Of Suspected Kidnapper Who Was Caught While He Was Trying To Collect Ransom In Bauchi
The operatives of the Bauchi State Police Command have apprehended a suspected abductor while trying to collect ransom cash.
Representative of the command, SP Ahmed Mohammed Wakil, who disclosed this in a statement on Friday, said the suspect Ya’u Haruna, and his gang members kidnapped one Musa Adamu, and required N8 million ransom for his release.
“On 13/01/2022 at about 1430hrs, the Command detectives acted upon intelligence, arrested one Ya’u Haruna aged 25yrs of Lim village Bununu, Tafawa Balewa L.G.A in possession of one Locally Fabricated revolver, with one live ammunition,” Wakil mentioned.
“During examination, the suspect admitted to have, on 29/12/2021 at about 0300hrs, criminally conspired with 3 of his gang members now at large equipped with gun stormed the house of one Musa Adamu aged 40yrs of Jambil, abducted him to unknown destination and required the sum of eight million naira (8,000,000) as ransom.
“The suspect was detained in the procedure of gathering the ransom. Investigation is ongoong.” the PPRO included.
