The Premier League confirmed on Sunday afternoon that Leeds’ upcoming clash against Aston Villa has been postponed.

The fixture was scheduled to take place on December 28.

According to the statement: “The postponement is a result of the ongoing COVID-19 cases and injuries at Leeds which saw their Boxing Day match against Liverpool called off.”

As such, the hosts do not have enough players available for the match resulting in the rescheduling.
