Police apprehend two presumed tricycle burglars in Delta
Police Operatives from the Agbarho Divisional Police Headquarters, in Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State, have actually arrested 2 presumed tricycle thieves in Ehwerhe roadway, Agbarho Community.
The Police also recovered a stolen tricycle from the suspects, DAILY POST reports.
The two jailed suspects consist of Goodluck Ahirima’m’ (24yrs) and Charles Oyibocha’m’ (24yrs).
The Delta State Police Command, led by CP Ari Muhammed Ali confirmed the report in a declaration signed by the Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Bright Edafe.
He stated the suspect flagged their victim down at PTI Junction, Effurun, and employed him to communicate them to Agbarho.
According to DSP Edafe, “The Tricycle rider specified that on getting to Agbarho Bridge, along Ughelli-Port-Harcourt Expressway, one of the passengers struck him on the head, forced him out of the tricycle and robbed him of his tricycle.”
Edafe said the suspects were jailed based on intelligence by the authorities who tracked them to their hideout in Ehwere roadway, Agbarho.
He noted that, “investigation is ongoing.”
