Bauchi community gets initially main school after 50 years

A non-governmental organisation(NGO ), Women for Women International, on Monday, established a main school at Rudugungun neighborhood, a predominantly Fulani settlement, for kids in the community to have access to basic education more than 50 years after its existence

. The settlement, located at Tirwun ward of Bauchi Local Government Area of Bauchi State, had actually been without a school with not successful attempts in the past to develop one there.

The school was established by the NGO, which is concerned about issues of violence against ladies and the woman child, in collaboration with Non-formal Education Department of Bauchi LGA in addition to the nomardic education company.

Speaking at the occasion, the Village Head of Tirwun commended Women for Women International for discovering the neighborhood and facility of the fundamental nomadic class there.
