EPL: I do not have one remorse– Ighalo opens on Man Utd exit

Al Hilal striker, Odion Ighalo, has said he does not have any regrets about leaving Manchester United.

Ighalo played for a year at Old Trafford throughout two loan deals.

Throughout his spell with United, the 32-year-old netted five times for the Red Devils.

In doing this, Ighalo became the first Nigerian footballer to play for Manchester United, even taking a pay cut to move to the club he had actually supported since youth.

“The environment in Old Trafford is various. It is a big club. You do not know how big the club is if you’re not within. It is a massive, massive, massive club.

“So, I thank God I played for the most significant club on the planet, it’s an achievement for me and when you state, “what I should do much better?”. I think I did whatever I need to do. I strove, I scored a few goals and I’m delighted.

“I do not have one remorse, I have no regrets for my time at Manchester United. They are still my group till today and I’m going to support that group to death.

“Even when they are having a hard time, I will still support them since it is Red Devils all the way,” Ighalo informed ESPN.
