AFCON 2021: You’re not at Mbappe’s level– Vincent Aboubakar slams Salah

Cameroon captain, Vincent Aboubakar, has struck out at Egypt captain, Mohamed Salah, ahead of both sides ‘2021 Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON, semi-final tie

on Thursday night. Aboubakar, who is presently the 2021 AFCON top scorer, said that Salah is not at the exact same level as Paris Saint-Germain forward, Kylian Mbappe.

The 30-year-old said that Salah doesn’t impress him much, adding that the Liverpool star doesn’t produce a lot of stuff in the game.

“He [Salah] doesn’t impress me much,” Aboubakar informed RFI.

“I state it plainly since I am a truthful individual and I have my method of seeing things. I would state so if he impressed me. He doesn’t impress me much.

“He is a good gamer, he scores a lot, but he does not produce a lot of things in the video game. Of course, he is doing good stuff in the Premier League due to the fact that he is been in a team that’s been there for years.

“He is a great player but not at the level of some like Mbappé.”

Aboubakar was the hero for Cameroon when they beat Egypt with Salah in action in the last of the 2017 AFCON edition in Gabon.

The winner in today’s tie in between Cameroon and Egypt will take on Senegal in the AFCON last on Sunday.
