Arsenal, on transfer deadline day(Monday), announced that Auston Trusty has joined the club from Colorado Rapids.

Arsenal likewise confirmed that Tim Akinola has left Emirates to join Scottish Premiership side Dundee United on loan for the remainder of the season.

The Gunners revealed this in a separate statement by means of their site.

The statement read, “Defender Auston Trusty has signed up with the club in an irreversible transfer from Colorado Rapids but will stay with the MLS side on loan.

“The USA under-20 international joined Colorado Rapids from Philadelphia Union in November 2019.

“Trusty, 23, will stick with the Colorado Rapids until a minimum of the end of the Premier League season in May.”

It added, “Young midfielder Tim Akinola has actually joined Scottish Premiership side Dundee United on loan for the rest of the 2021/22 season.

“The 20-year-old joined us from Huddersfield Town in summer season 2020 and went on to make 21 Premier League 2 looks last season.”
