This was made known by the Kwara State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps.

According to Tribune, the young man was discovered dead inside a bush at Erinmope Village near Ayedun in the Oke Ero Local Government Area of the state by one of his relations.

Spokesperson for the Kwara State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Babawale Afolabi, who validated the event in Ilorin, the state capital, on Tuesday said that the matter had been handed over to the authorities for further investigations and required actions.

“On Monday 17/01/2022 at about 12:00 hours, one Thomas Obaoye of Ayedun town went to our divisional office in the area to notify our guys on the ground about the death of his sibling, Olakunle Obaoye, 25, whose lifeless body was found holding on the tree in what appear like a suicide.”

He also said NSCDC men from Ayedun Division later went to the scene of the event and collaborated with the loved ones of the victim to lower his corpse from the 3.

“The dead body was later on turned over to the family for proper burial,” he said.
