Nnamdi Kanu’s Trial Adjourned To February 16, 2022

The Federal High Court in Abuja has actually adjourned Nnamdi Kanu’s case till February 16. The court stated it will think about the application submitted by the defence attorney, Mike Ozekhome, SAN on the above date.

Nnamdi Kanu had earlier pleaded innocent to the FG’s modified charges. The Prosecution lawyer firmly insisted that the FG was prepared to happen with the case and have two witnesses in Court.

However, Mike Ozekhome filed an application to quash all charges against his customer and likewise submitted an application for bail, a relocation Labaran Magaji (lawyer to the FG) countered that he just received the application this morning and the primary trial must continue.

Ozekhome had filed an application that the charges should be dismissed for absence of benefit which his client, Kanu be freed.

Justice Binta Nyako stated the Prosecution legal representative should serve the defence lawyer a minimum of 5 days prior to the hearing.

She for that reason, adjourned till February 16 to look into the application seeking to quash all charges before the main trial begins.
