Ghanaian legend, Asamoah Gyan, has actually reacted to the Black Stars’removal from the continuous 2021 Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON, in Cameroon.

Gyan, who is Ghana’s most-capped gamer with 109 looks and all-time top scorer with 51 goals, also firmly insisted that captain Andrew Ayew is the only gamer who has a killer impulse in the team.

Recall that Ghana was removed from the 2021 AFCON in the group stages on Tuesday night after a shock 3-2 defeat to debutants, Comoros.

The Black Stars entered their final Group C component with one point and needed a win to advance.

They yielded an early objective and with Ayew getting a red card in the 25th minute, the Black Stars ended up losing after complete time.

Reacting, Gyan stated he was ravaged and shocked by the way Ghana crashed out of the 2021 AFCON.

Gyan informed SuperSport: “Andrew Ayew is the only one who has got the killer impulse in the group.”

He added, “I’m ravaged. I am shocked the other way round. You can not win a video game with this attitude. I saw the real Ghana when we were 10 males down.

“They attempted to provide whatever which was great, however it was insufficient. As all of us stated earlier, we didn’t have a sense of urgency throughout this tournament.

“We had 10 players on the field. Since why do you have to push when you have ten males instead of having eleven males on the pitch, I am a bit upset. I am very dissatisfied in this game.

“We didn’t have fun with decision, with any aspirations. What else can I state? We have actually lost and we are going house. everyone in Ghana will be dissatisfied.”
