Nigeria assistant coach, Joseph Yobo has stated he is pleased with Super Eagles centre-backs, William Troost-Ekong and Kenneth Omeruo at the continuous 2021 Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON, in Cameroon.

Troost-Ekong and Omeruo have been solid at the back for Nigeria up until now at the 2021 AFCON.

The set put in a great performance during Nigeria’s opening AFCON Group C 1-0 triumph against Egypt last Tuesday.

The defenders likewise put in a masterclass screen throughout Nigeria’s 3-1 win against Sudan at the weekend.

Speaking after Nigeria’s win against Sudan, Yobo informed GOAL: “I am extremely delighted with the main protectors. Gamers can be found in and out. It’s a partnership and not all about individual efficiency.
