BREAKING: Nigeria vs Sudan: Eguavoen names Super Eagles’ starting XI for AFCON match

Interim manager of Nigeria’s Super Eagles, Augustine Eguavoen, has named his side’s beginning XI to face Sudan in today’s 2021 Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON, video game in Cameroon.

Eguavoen chose to keep the exact same beginning XI that beat Egypt.

He decided to start Simon, Chukwueze and Awoniyi in Nigeria’s attack line versus Sudan.

The Super Eagles head to the game after beating Egypt 1-0 in their first match earlier today.

Nigeria are in Group D alongside Sudan, Egypt and Guinea-Bissau.

Below is Nigeria’s starting XI versus Sudan:

Okoye, Aina, Omeruo, Ekong, Zaidu, Ndidi, Aribo, Iheanacho, Simon, Chukwueze and Awoniyi.

Replacements: Akpeyi, Uzoho, Ebuehi, Iwobi, Nwakali, Ejuke, Umar, Onyekuru, Musa, Onyeka, Ndah and Ajayi.

The kick-off time for the video game is 5 pm.
