AFCON 2021: Buhari’s aide responds as Super Eagles beat Sudan 3-1

Bashir Ahmad, Personal Assistant on New Media to President Muhammadu Buhari, has reacted to the Super Eagles’ 3-1 success against Sudan.

Ahmad applauded the Nigerian representative for playing great football.

The Super Eagles had beat Sudan 3-1 in the ongoing African Cup of Nations, AFCON, in Cameroon on Saturday.

Goals from Samuel Chukwueze, Taiwo Awoniyi and Moses Simon offered the three-time champs a three-goal lead against the Sudanese side.

With this win, the Super Eagles have actually received the 2nd round of AFCON from group D.

Reacting, Ahmad, in a series of tweets composed: “It is constantly so great watching Super Eagles playing and winning matches.

“I remained in Garoua, Cameroon last week for the Super Eagles’ opening match, I actually loved the way Garouans came out en masse to support Nigeria versus their opponent, Egypt.
