2023 Presidency: Arewa Forum demands medical proof on Tinubu
Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF )has actually advised Nigerians with convincing medical evidence of Bola Tinubu, a governmental aspirant to speak out.
ACF said Nigerians with Tinubu’s medical evidence must come out and reveal that he is not fit to object to the Presidency on health grounds.
Spokesperson of ACF, Emmanuel Yawe, stated the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, should not be enabled to run for the Presidency without providing his medical proof.
The APC National Leader on Monday hinted on competing for the greatest political workplace in the nation.
The former Lagos State Governor notified President Muhammadu Buhari of his life-long dream which is to run for the Presidency.
Yawe said Nigerians need to be saved from the agony of having a President with health challenges.
In a declaration, Yawe stated: “If people have issues or evidence about his (Tinubu) health, let them come out and speak. Let them offer evidence that he is not strong enough to contest for the Presidency or hold the office.
“The individuals who have the evidence that Tinubu is not strong enough for the office of Presidency should save us the agony of having an ill President in workplace. They need to speak out.”
The ACF spokesperson pointed out the late former President Umaru Yar’Adua, who was ill and passed away in workplace, developed a constitutional crisis.
“So, if we understand that someone is sick, we need to not permit him to take over that workplace. It is a severe workplace that will figure out the future of millions of citizens. In a complex nation like Nigeria, we should not enable somebody that is not medically fit to inhabit such an office and mess everybody up.
“President Muhammadu Buhari is always travelling abroad for medical attention, and Nigerians would be arranging presentations to force him back home. It was actually awkward. We need to not enable such things to take place again,” Yawe stated.
Last year, Tinubu had actually invested months abroad after he had surgery.
While recovering, Buhari visited him in London.
