Aisha Yesufu, a Nigerian activist, has shared her husband’s experience from attending a wedding where the couple insisted that they will not have a reception. 

The activist revealed that the couple’s family fought against the decision but they stood their ground. 

Aisha further revealed that after the wedding ceremony, the couple gave their guests a bag with food, water, soft drinks and a souvenir.
