European champions Italy to face Cope América winners Argentina
Italy and Argentina will meet in a friendly in June 2022.
The news was confirmed by both Uefa and CONMEBOL on Tuesday via a joint press release.
It means that the current champions of Europe will face the current champions of South America at an undisclosed venue.
Reports in Italy though, suggest that the game will take place in Naples in honour of Diego Maradona.
