EPL: Michael Owen predicts position Chelsea will finish under Tuchel
Former Liverpool striker, Michael Owen, has predicted the position Chelsea will finish under their manager, Thomas Tuchel, this season.
Owen said that Chelsea would finish in the top four positions this term under Tuchel after they defeated Liverpool 1-0 at Anfield on Thursday night, thanks to Mason Mount’s first-half goal.
According to him, the Stamford Bridge club are not conceding goals, and they have kept clean sheets in ten matches.
“You ride the crest of a wave, Chelsea are not going anywhere. They are staying in the top four,” Owen told Premier League Productions.
“They are not conceding goals, eight clean sheets in 10 games, they have only scored 11 goals.
“It is not like they are knocking the lights out. They are a team that are probably scoring at the same race as Crystal Palace and Brighton, they are just not conceding, and they don’t look like it.”
Chelsea are currently in the fourth position on the log with 27 points from 47 games.
The Blues’ next game is against Everton on Monday.
