EPL: What Solskjaer said about Pogba after Man United’s 2-1 win against Fulham
Manchester United boss, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, has said that midfielder, Paul Pogba, played ‘very well,’ against Fulham in the Premier League on Wednesday night.
Solskjaer also described Pogba’s goal against Fulham as fantastic.
Man United defeated Fulham 2-1 at Craven Cottage, thanks to two goals from Edinson Cavani and Pogba.
Ademola Lookman did score for the host in the first half.
“Fantastic goal by Paul and we had some other chances to finish the game but of course when it is just one goal, and the players they put on it is going to be like heart in your mouth,” Solskjaer told post-match press conference after the game.
“Paul has really come on. He is fit, he can play in midfield, and he can play wide.
“That’s key with Paul, getting him match fit and running fit and he is now. He played very well.”
Man United’s next match is against Liverpool in the FA Cup on Sunday.
