West Ham vs Man Utd: What Solskjaer told his players at half time of 3-1 win

Manchester United manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, sensed his side were “stressed” during a poor first-half display against West Ham.

The visitors were fortunate to be trailing by only one goal at the break, after Tomas Soucek’s 38th minute opener.

During his half-time team talk, Solskjaer urged his team to stay composed.

The Norwegian also brought on Marcus Rashford and Bruno Fernandes at the start of the second half.

“You’ve got to keep composed,” Solskjaer said, when asked how he inspired his side’s latest comeback win.

“We put a few things right that were wrong first and we tweaked a little bit the tactics and formation and balance of the team.

“The biggest thing was to clear our heads because it seemed that after they scored, we never got into our rhythm, and we got stressed.”
