Ukraine’s president tests positive for COVID-19
Volodymyr Zelenskiy, Ukrainian President on Monday, confirmed that he tested positive for COVID-19.
Zelenskiy, who disclosed this in a tweet, said he will be working in self-isolation while being treated for the deadly disease.
He said, “There are no lucky people for whom #COVID19 does not pose a threat. Despite all the quarantine measures, I received a positive test.
”However, I feel good. I promise to isolate myself and I continue to work.”
A total of 8,565 people have died of COVID-19 in the country.
