NYSC DG charges governors to improve conditions of camps
The National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, has urged state governors to upgrade and expand orientation camp facilities, amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
NYSC Director-General, Brig.-Gen. Shuaibu Ibrahim said governors should adequately serve the increasing Corps population.
Ibrahim stated this at the 2020 Batch ‘B’ Pre-Orientation Workshop, on Thursday in Abuja.
According to the NYSC DG: “There is no gainsaying the fact that an environment that is conducive is crucial to the success of the orientation programme, and indeed the entire service year.
“Management considers as highly commendable, the improvements in camp development in some states.”
