Manchester United manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, may be without his captain, Harry Maguire, for Saturday’s trip to Newcastle.
Maguire’s troubled season continued with his red card in England’s 1-0 defeat to Denmark at Wembley.
Since then, there have been calls for the defender to be given a break.
But Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said he has no intention of taking Maguire out of the firing line, although the player could now be ruled out tomorrow after picking up a knock on England duty.
“Harry has got great resilience, he knows he’ll bounce back, he wants to play and work his way out of the last couple of games.
“He’s been criticised, he picked up a knock just before he came off, and we’ll have a look at him today,” Solskjaer told a press conference.
United are currently down in 16th place in the Premier League, after losing two of their opening three games this season, and conceding 11 times.
