The occurrence happened when the three young boys were rearing their camels. They drowned inside while swimming to cross the river.

Cops Spokesman, ASP Lawan Shiisu Adam validated the event to DAILY POST.

He stated “it took place on 19/01/2022 when the 3 kids specifically, Musa Ahmad 12 year old, Yusuf Ahmad 7 years of age and Alkasim Muhammad 14 years of age all of Kazamaki Fulani settlement in Guri Local Government Area were swimming.”

Shiisu said “on getting the report, the police visited the scene where bodies of the deceased were recovered from the stream and taken to Hadejia General Hospital and certified dead by a medical physician.”

He stated the corpses were released to their loved ones for burial according to Islamic rites.

“Preliminary examination revealed that no nasty play was presumed while the case is still under examination,” he added.
