The ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, has opted for a shift in date of its nationwide convention following President Muhammadu Buhari’s approval, DAILY POST has learnt.

DAILY POST collected Sunday night that the Caretaker Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee, CECPC, chaired by the Yobe State Governor, Mai Bala Buni, fulfilled and took a decision to delay the party’s national convention, which was earlier arranged to hold this Saturday.

The committee decided on a two-week shift, a development that may not have gone down well with other stakeholders of the celebration, the majority of whom are agitating that the convention must hold on February 26 as earlier set up.

There are also indications that stakeholders gone for a postponement owing to logistic spaces in the convention planning.
