EPL: We have no possibility to capture Man City– Klopp declares after 2-0 win over Leicester

Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp has declared they can not catch Manchester City in spite of their 2-0 win over Leicester City, on Thursday.

The German feels his group does not have the Premier League champions “on their knees yet” in the title race.

Diogo Jota scored two times in either half at Anfield, as the Reds went within 9 points of City, with a game in hand.

However Klopp does not think the gap suffices to problem the reigning champs.

He stated: “I am uncertain we’re in a position to get them on their toes, to be truthful.

“Actually, we have no opportunity to catch them, but it does not imply we won’t play the very best possible season for us.

“First and primary, we have to win our football games and this club is huge. Considering that I’m here, I can’t keep in mind a video game we lost and everybody stated ‘yeah, we can lose that video game’, so it’s always the same circumstance.

“There’s a video game, we put on the t-shirts and we have to win it. It does not work out all the time, but luckily it’s taken place a number of times.

“It was actually important tonight for us to win since there’s not only Man City to capture or whatever, there are great deals of teams behind us who wish to get closer which’s a really essential task too.

“I don’t think they smell our breath already, however we simply try to win football video games.”
