EPL: Manchester City beat Chelsea, go 13 points clear

Manchester City on Saturday defeated Chelsea 1-0 in a Premier League fixture at the Etihad Stadium.

Kevin De Bruyne scored the only goal of the encounter in the second half to give Man City all three points against Chelsea.

The first-half had ended in a 0-0 draw after both teams failed to score.

The win over Chelsea means Pep Guardiola’s side are now 13 points clear on top of the Premier League table after 22 games.

Meanwhile, Chelsea still maintain the second position on the log with 43 points from the same number of games.

The Blues are ahead of third-place Liverpool, who have 42 points from 20 games.

Jurgen Klopp’s side will take on Brentford on Sunday and a win against the visitors will move them to second position ahead of Chelsea.
