EPL: Salah gives upgrade on future with Liverpool

Egyptian forward, Mohamed Salah, has supplied the current update on his future with Liverpool

. Salah said his future with Liverpool is ‘in the hands of the club’s board, firmly insisting that he wants to stay at Anfield.

The previous Chelsea star currently has 18 months left on his present agreement with Liverpool.

The 29-year-old is stated to be requiring wages of around ₤ 350,000-a-week, which would smash the Reds’ wage structure and make him Liverpool’s highest-paid player of perpetuity.

Liverpool is scared that handing the winger record incomes will trigger income increases across the board, which would assist to push the club into a hard monetary circumstance.

“I wish to remain, however it’s not in my hands. It’s in their hands,” Salah informed GQ.

“They understand what I desire. I’m not requesting for crazy things. The important things is when you request something and they show you they can provide you something … because they value what you did for the club.

“I’ve been here for my fifth year now. I understand the club effectively. I enjoy the fans. The fans love me. With the administration, they have [ been] told the situation. It’s in their hands.”
