    Thanks For Being A Blessing – Sam Adeyemi’s Wife Hails Pastor At 55 825670622 173 Pastor Sam Adeyemi, the creator and Senior Pastor of Daystar Christian Centre, clocked 55 years on Thursday and his partner, Pastor Nike, celebrated him. The cleric’s partner took to her Twitter page to hail Sam Adeyemi as her friend, enthusiast, other half of her youth and caring dad to their kids. She also valued God for the big day, thanking her partner for being a true blessing to her and to those around them. Pastor Nike composed, “Grateful this day and always for my buddy, enthusiast, husband of my youth, caring daddy to our kids, pastor and leader of leaders. My Sweetheart, Sam Adeyemi is 55 today! Thank you, Lord. Thank you for being a blessing to me and all of us. #happybirthday #samadeyemiday.” Members and followers of the Sam Adeyemi required to the remarks area to send out good wishes and prayers to the cleric. Asides from being a cleric, Pastor Sam Adeyemi was among the noteworthy voices in assistance of the #EndSARS demonstrations which rocked several states in Nigeria and some parts of the world two years ago. He, along with others like, artists Burna Boy, Davido, and Falz; comics, Mr Macaroni and Taaoma; and activist, Aisha Yesufu, was sued in November 2020 as vocal fans of the #EndSARS demonstrations. The fit was, however, stopped by an order of a High Court in the Federal Capital Territory in January.

Emir of Zazzau, Alhaji Shehu Idris

Following the death of Emir of Zazzau, Alhaji Shehu Idris, the Kaduna State Government has declared three days mourning in the state.

The Special Adviser to the Governor Nasir el-Rufai on Media and Communication, Mr Muyiwa Adekeye, announced this in a statement this morning.

Adekeye said public offices would open on September 21 and September 22 but “there will be a public holiday on September 23 to honour his memory’’.

The statement was titled, “Kaduna declares three days mourning for late Emir of Zazzau”.

It read, “The Kaduna State Government has declared three days of mourning for the late Emir of Zazzau, HH Alh. Shehu Idris. Public offices will open as normal on 21 and 22 September 2020.

“There will be a public holiday on 23 September to honour his memory.

“Flags will fly at half-mast during the mourning period.”

The emir died at the 44 Army Reference Hospital, Kaduna on Sunday at the age of 84.
