Toyin Lawani , Nigerian designer, has countered claims centered on her background and her household.

The celeb stylist who is celebrating her 40th birthday today March 1, told Her Network that many individuals believe she’s from the streets. Toyin Lawani went on to reveal that she’s from a royal family in Ekiti state.

She revealed that her maternal grandpa, Chief Elijah Babalola, was the very first minister of operate in the western area, and her granny was the Regent of Ikoyi Ikole Ekiti.

She included that her paternal grandpa, Yisha Lawani, was the official commissioner of authorities in Lagos, and her father, Alh Shehu Lawani, was an assistant to the former Nigerian Head of State, Yakubu Gowon.

Lawani stated; I am the CEO of Tiannahs Place Empire, which includes over 33 companies under one roof. I hail Lagos State and a University of Lagos English graduate.

Because of how tough I hustle and work, many people believe I’m from the streets, but this is not the case. I originate from a royal family in the state of Ekiti.
