At least nine persons have escaped death after a train crushed a Dangote cement truck and one tricycle in Kano State.

Public Relations Officer of the Federal Roads Safety Corps, Kano State, Abdullahi Labaran validated the incident to DAILY POST.

He said the event took place on Sunday along Obasanjo Road in the Kano metropolitan area.

Abdullahi stated about 9 individuals were hurt while the lorries and accompanying properties were harmed.

He stated the FRSC rescue group conveyed 9 victims to the Murtala Muhammad Specialists Hospital in Kano for medical attention.

An eyewitness informed DAILY POST that the truck motorist disregarded cautions by bystanders about the movement of the train, as an outcome, the train rammed into the truck and the tricycle while attempting to cross the railway.
