The Kano State Hisbah Board yesterday sacked a top official allegedly found with a married woman in a hotel room in the Sabon Gari area of the state.

Newsmen report that early this year, the official was found in a suspicious manner with the married woman.

The Hisbah public relations officer, Lawal Ibrahim Fagge confirmed the sacking of the official to our reporter and said that due procedure was followed.

It was gathered that the decision followed a report by a committee set up by the board to find out the circumstances surrounding the incident.

It was gathered that the official had been at the forefront of arresting alleged prostitutes and other suspects in hotels.
